Got the wintertime blues? Mix up a colorful treat with this icy blue curacao cocktail recipe and you won’t be blue for long!

Blue Curacao is a beautiful blue liqueur most commonly found in bars that whip up amazing cocktails and colorful shots. The blue really will set you back, making you wonder if your lips will look like the kids do after they have been sucking on blue lollies or eating blue cotton candy. But rest assured, your lips are safe from getting dyed.

This cocktail actually has a citrus flavor that makes it really refreshing. No, it does not taste like blue raspberry or blueberry. It is simply colored for presentation. The taste is all citrus! This combo of Smirnoff and Blue Curacao could definitely be served year round due to its refreshing flavor, but the ice blue color makes for a great presentation during a cold winter holiday party!

I like to freeze a bit of the cocktail mix in an ice cube try to make really dramatic-looking cubes that won't water down your cocktail as they melt.
