Place a sprig of thyme and a sage leaf in an empty cocktail shaker then muddle using a wooden spoon.
Add fresh ice, apple butter, whiskey and ginger ale. Shake vigorously then strain into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with fresh sage and thyme and enjoy!
Notes
We used Maker’s Mark in this recipe because we like it—but feel free to use any kind of bourbon whiskey your heart desires.
