  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Sift all dry ingredients into medium bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Divide batter equally between 2 microwave safe mugs.
  • Cook 1 at a time, 1−2 minutes each then allow to cool slightly. Garnish as desired,
  • Enjoy while still warm.

One Last Thing

Add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the batter to amp up the texture of your 5-minute cake!
