Ingredients

  • 6 - 7 lb ham pre-cooked, bone-in, depending on size of slow cooker
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Coat the interior of a slow cooker using non-stick spray. Remove all packaging from the ham, including the plastic caps on each side of the bone. Place ham into slow cooker, cut side down, trimming to fit if necessary.
  • Pour water over the ham then sprinkle with brown sugar. If the ham comes with a packet of glaze, omit brown sugar and use the glaze instead.
  • Cook ham, covered on low for about 3½–4 hours or until the internal temperature is at least 140 degrees. Transfer ham to a serving platter then spoon the yummy liquid from the pot on top of the meat. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the ham is cooked when you buy it—an uncooked ham takes way too long for this slow-cooker recipe!
