Add some extra holiday cheer to the time-honored mimosa cocktail with our cranberry basil mimosa recipe.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup 100% cranberry juice
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • Champagne or sparkling wine

Instructions

  • Add basil leaves and sugar to cocktail shaker and muddle then pour in chilled cranberry and orange juice.
  • Shake ingredients vigorously and strain into glasses, filling each halfway.
  • Top with champagne and enjoy!

Notes

There are no rules here! While the mimosa is typically a brunch cocktail, we don’t see any problem with enjoying the libation in the late afternoon or throughout the evening.
