Ingredients

cups
bottled water
or filtered water
1 1/2
cups
peach slices
3/4
cup
granulated sugar
1/2
cup
rum
3
cups
ice
Instructions
Place water, peaches, and sugar in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, let simmer 5 minutes then cool completely in refrigerator.
Add ice to blender. Pour cooled peach mixture into blender. Add rum and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses and enjoy!
Notes
Using alcohol in the recipe will make your granita less firm than a traditional, non-alcoholic version. One will require a spoon, the other a straw.
