High Protein Jalapeño Popper Cheeseburger Bites
These macro-friendly cheeseburger bites give you all the flavor of your favorite fast food in a way that fits your high protein diet.
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup low fat cheddar
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 4 jalapeños seeded and diced
- 4 egg whites
- 6 tbsp fat free cream cheese
- pinch of salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and oil a muffin tin.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the cream cheese. Mix until completely combined.
Fill each muffin tin half way, then top with ½ tbsp of fat free cream cheese, then top with more mixture. The mixture should fill 12 muffin tins.
Place into the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. Let cool 5-10 minutes before removing from the tin.
