Ingredients

For Sandwich

  • 4 slices cheddar cheese or other preferred cheese
  • 4 slices sandwich bread lightly toasted
  • salsa optional for topping or dipping
  • jalapeño optional for topping

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except for the cheese, bread, and toppings and mix well.
  • Spread the tuna mixture onto the toasted bread slices and place on a baking sheet. Top each with a slice of cheese.
  • Broil in the oven for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Finish with toppings such as fresh jalapenos and salsa and serve immediately.
