Strawberry Mint Tea Recipe

Want to add a fruity twist to your plain old iced tea? This strawberry mint tea recipe is made with green tea and fresh muddled strawberries, yum!

Ingredients

strawberry simple syrup

mint tea

  • 6 green tea bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 - 4 sprigs fresh mint plus extra for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring simple syrup ingredients to a boil then let simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool the strain mixture using a sieve.
  • Bring the 2 cups water to a boil and insert tea bags. Let cool.
  • Combine tea and simple syrup in a large pitcher then add ice.
  • Muddle 3-4 large sprigs of mint then add to pitcher. Serve with a sprig of fresh mint, if desired.

Notes

You can easily swap the mint and strawberries for any of your favorite flavors–basil and grapefruit, lemon and rosemary–you get the idea!
