Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and butter a 9" square baking dish; set aside.
  • Place strawberries, ½ cup granulated sugar and balsamic vinegar in medium-sized bowl. Stir to combine then set aside.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar. Add milk, vanilla and melted butter then stir until just combined (do not over mix—batter will be slightly lumpy). Pour batter into baking dish.
  • Spoon strawberries mixture evenly over top of batter.
  • Bake 40−45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and enjoy!

Notes

You don't always have to serve your cobbler warm–this recipe tastes just as good served cold!
