Preheat the oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, toss the shredded chicken with the taco seasoning and salsa. Set aside.
Spread the halved bell peppers on the baking sheet evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded chicken all over the peppers evenly.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bell peppers are slightly cooked but still crunchy.
Drizzle with sour cream and top with jalapenos, limes, cilantro, onion, and avocado if desired.
