Make these super cute egg place cards and you can expect lots of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ at the dinner table this Easter.

This is a great craft for using up scraps of yarn and felt left over from past projects, which means more savings for you. Use plastic or paper mache eggs to decorate, then choose googly eyes to give them some personality.

And you don’t have to make them into egg place cards. They are super cute on their own as an Easter decoration.

  1. Unravel a foot or two of white yarn to get started and squeeze a dollop of hot glue on the top point of the egg to adhere the end of the yarn. Wrap yarn around the egg using as much glue as necessary to hold the yarn in place—be sure not to leave any gaps. Once the egg has been completely covered, snip the yarn and glue the end in place.
  2. Cut out feet and two bunny ears using white and pink felt, leaving extra room for attaching them to the body with glue.

  4. Cut tags out of card stock and write names on them.
Notes
Be sure to tightly wrap the yarn around the eggs as close together as possible so there are no gaps.
