Dirty Shirley Cocktail
We all loved to sip on Shirley Temples when we were kids—that’s why we were so inspired to create an adult version. Say hello to our dirty Shirley—it’s an adult Shirley Temple cocktail recipe!
We swapped out all the kid stuff for more adult-centric ingredients like (ahem, vodka) cream soda instead of lemon-lime soda and dark cherry juice rather than grenadine. Topped off with a squeeze of fresh lime and Maraschino cherries for garnish, we couldn’t be happier with the results!
In the test kitchen, we did learn that too much cherry juice made this cocktail taste more like cough syrup than a cocktail, so make sure you pay attention to the proportions of each ingredient.
