Invented centuries ago to help beat the Mediterranean heat, sangria is simply a fresh fruit punch made with a wine base.

The theory behind this rosé wine sangria cocktail is to throw everything into a pitcher and let it set overnight (or about 8 hours) so the flavors can become one. Think blackberries, peaches, raspberries (fresh or frozen) and fresh mint leaves for garnish!

This cocktail is full of perks—you can make it a day in advance, and if you have a beverage dispenser, it’s a beauty when displayed on the bar or buffet. You really can’t mess up sangria, so take liberties when you make your own!
