Chipotle Zesty Dipping Sauce

Chipotle Zesty Dipping Sauce Recipe

Yield: 6 servings
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 cups yogurt
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2-3 in chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, depending on taste
- 1 pinch granulated sugar
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- paprika, for garnish
- Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor then purée until completely smooth. Make sure there are no lumps of garlic or bits of chipotle chili remaining. Garnish with a dash of paprika if desired.
- Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to meld flavors. Sauce will keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. Enjoy!
Chipotle peppers in adobo can be found canned in nearly every supermarket. Just check the Latin food aisle near the green chilies or salsas!
