Blackberry Lemon Spritzer
Signature drinks are a fun way to represent your personal style when hosting a special event. In the spirit of the fall bridal season, we whipped up a blackberry lemon spritzer to keep things light, festive and full of flavor (and pretty too)!
Our blackberry and fresh lemon spritzer recipe has one super secret ingredient—homemade blackberry sauce! Once you make the sauce and it has cooled, add it to a pitcher along with everything else and you have an amazing signature cocktail!
Blackberry Lemon Spritzer Recipe
In the spirit of the fall bridal season, we whipped up our blackberry lemon spritzer to keep things light, festive and full of flavor!
Ingredients
Yield: 4 -6 servings
- 6 cups blackberries
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- mesh strainer
- juice of 1/2 of a lemon
- 12 oz ginger ale
- 8 oz Riesling wine
Instructions
- Place blackberries in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in water and sugar and cook until blackberries start to break down. Reduce heat to low; simmer 7 minutes
- Strain sauce into a small mixing bowl, using a mesh strainer (squeeze as much juice out as possible by pressing spatula against berries) cool sauce in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- To make cocktails, pour lemon juice, ginger ale, riesling and blackberry sauce into pitcher.
- Stir well, pour into glasses and garnish with a blackberry and lemon zest

If you're hosting a casual get together, this cocktail would be super cute served in mason jars!
