We love vanilla and oranges, so we decided to combine them into one delicious and refreshing orange vanilla iced tea recipe! Putting the ingredients together is easy, and you probably already have most of the ingredients on hand.

Traditionally, we reserve the vanilla bean paste for recipes like pudding, where seeing the bean is important, but we used vanilla paste in this recipe because it’s a little more spicy and intense. Make sure to add this ingredient while the tea is hot so it evenly distributes in the liquid.

The key to rich flavor is allowing the tea to steep with the other ingredients long enough for the flavors to diffuse—an hour or two will suffice!

A pitcher and two glasses of refreshing tea infused with orange and vanilla, perfect for the summer!
