Vodka Pomegranate Cocktail
Looking for an easy-to-make cocktail that’s refreshing and flavorful, but not too sweet? Our vodka pomegranate cocktail recipe is light and tasty, with a moderate blend of tart and sweet.
This recipe calls for Cointreau (pronounced kwan-troh), which is a spirit made by France’s Cointreau family. Cointreau is an orange flavored liqueur made with the peel of sour and sweet oranges, which tastes exotic with a mild bitter orange flavor.
To complete the vodka pomegranate cocktail recipe, you’ll need to fill a shaker half way with ice.
Pour the vodka of your choice, pomegranate juice, Cointreau and lime juice into the shaker. Then shake vigorously.
Pour the results into a fun party glass, top with lemon-lime soda, and garnish with a fresh slice of lime and pomegranate seeds.
To successfully select a great pomegranate at the market, pick a pom that feels heavy for its size. Make sure that the skin is bright, thin and free of blemishes or bruising. You can store at room temperature for up to one week.
Serve this beverage at your next soiree, or enjoy on a regular Friday night with your favorite pals.
