  • In a medium-sized bowl, add the einkorn wheat berries and the water. Cover and let sit on the counter in a cool place overnight.
  • The next day, drain the wheat berries. They are now ready for your favorite breakfast bowl!
  • To preserve 1–2 days, turn the oven to the lowest setting and transfer the wheat berries to a rimmed baking sheet. Place the wheat berries in the oven and allow them to dry for 1–2 hours.

Notes

You can prepare risottos, pilafs and other rice-like dishes using wheat berries!
