  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the sliced red onion down at the bottom of a 9×9” baking dish
  • Toss the chicken breast with the oil, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until coated.
  • Place the chicken on top of the red onion.
  • Divide the BBQ sauce over top of the chicken breast, followed by the shredded cheese.
  • Cover and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Top with green onion, cilantro and bacon crumbles before serving.
