Tangy BBQ Sauce Recipe
Our super simple tangy BBQ sauce recipe is so tasty, you’ll never buy pre-made sauce again.
Ingredients
Yield: 6 servings
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and whisk until completely combined.
- Heat until bubbling over medium heat, immediately reduce heat to low. Simmer for 20−25 minutes, stirring frequently then remove from heat.
- Allow to cool then enjoy!
Notes
Want to make a spicy version? Add cayenne pepper and a few dashes of Tabasco sauce! Delish!
