grapefruit and basil

lemon and rosemary

  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 gal water
  • 2 lemons
  • ice
  • pitcher, or water dispenser
  • sweet peppers
  • 2 c sweet mini peppers, (green, red and yellow)
  • 1 gal water
  • ice
  • pitcher, or water dispenser

Instructions
 

  • To make grapefruit and basil flavored water, use a spatula or back of large wooden spoon to bruise the basil. Place basil in bottom of pitcher, add water and let steep about 2 hours. Cut grapefruit into thick slices and discard end pieces. Add grapefruit and ice to pitcher and chill another 2 hours before serving. Add ice as needed.
  • To make lemon and rosemary flavored water, use a spatula or back of large wooden spoon to bruise the rosemary. Place rosemary in bottom of pitcher, add water and let steep about 2 hours. Cut lemon into thick slices and discard end pieces. Add lemon and ice to pitcher and chill another 2 hours before serving. Add ice as needed.
  • To make sweet pepper flavored water, halve mini peppers and remove seeds. Place peppers in bottom of pitcher, add water and ice and chill for 4 hours before serving. Add ice as needed.

Notes

Feel free to substitute with your favorite fruits and vegetables!
