Caesar Chicken Bake Recipe Tips:
+ Using a meat thermometer can help you make sure your chicken is fully cooked, without it being overdone. This is especially helpful when you slice a chicken breast in half as it cooks much faster!
+ To make this even more macro-friendly, you can substitute Greek yogurt plus a squirt of lemon juice in place of the sour cream.
+ This Caesar chicken is delicious right out of the oven. But you can also refrigerate it if you’re planning on enjoying on your salad or for meal prep.
Caesar Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Toss the chicken with a generous pinch of salt, pepper, and the garlic powder until completely coated.
- Lay the chicken evenly in a baking dish.
- Mix together the Caesar dressing, sour cream, and garlic in a small bowl. Cover each piece of chicken evenly with the Caesar mixture, then sprinkle the parmesan evenly over the top of the chicken.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
- Remove and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with more parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper and enjoy!
