Instructions

  • Grease a 9" x 13" casserole dish.

for hard yolks

  • Crack eggs into the dish and move the yolks so that they are lined up evenly. Dot eggs with any remaining butter and transfer dish to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 18–20 minutes. Your eggs will continue to cook a little in the dish.

for soft yolks

  • Separate the eggs. Carefully place the yolks on a plate or in individual spoons. Put only the egg whites in the greased dish. Dot with butter and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Take the whites from the oven and make 12 small divots in the whites where you want the yolks to sit. Use spoon to place each yolk on a divot. Return eggs to oven and bake 5-6 minutes more.
