I love to cook with spinach, but it can definitely water down your dish if you don’t squeeze spinach dry. I’m not going to lie, I ruined a good meal or two back in the day by not knowing how to do this properly, so I feel it my duty to save you from the same mistake!

Once you have thawed or cooked your spinach, transfer it to a strainer in your sink. Use a wooden spoon or bowl to press the spinach against the sides of your strainer, and don’t be afraid to put some muscle into it. Once there is no more water, your spinach will be good to go and ready to add to your recipe. Dinner crisis averted!
