If you want to make this ahead of time, just store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve. Pull it out about 10-15 minutes before you’re ready to enjoy so it’s not too cold when you bite into it.

This Caramel Apple Bark has all the flavors you love of traditional caramel apples, but is much easier to enjoy (and eat!).

Ingredients

  • 8 oz dark chocolate
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce, plus more to drizzle
  • 1/2 cup pretzel pieces
  • 1/2 cup Granny Smith apples, finely diced
  • flaky salt, optional for topping

Instructions
 

  • Break the chocolate up into a microwave-safe bowl along with the coconut oil. Melt in 20 second intervals, stirring between until completely melted.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the melted chocolate over the top. Spread evenly.
  • Dollop the caramel into the chocolate and use a knife to swirl it into the chocolate.
  • Sprinkle the pretzel pieces and diced apples evenly over the top. Drizzle with a little more caramel if desired.
  • Sprinkle with flaky salt if using, then place into the freezer to set for 30 minutes.
  • Once completely set, break apart and enjoy!
