Tequila-Soaked Watermelon Wedges
After making these super duper easy and delicious jalapeno basil tequila soaked watermelon wedges—you will absolutely be the talk of the town. Your pals have never tasted anything so unique, refreshing and so…well, un-tequila-ish!
Trust us when we say you will be pleasantly surprised and do not need to be a tequila lover to enjoy this edible cocktail! It is sweet and refreshing with a little kick and no heavy alcohol taste!
It just takes a few minutes to concoct the tequila simple syrup, and there is plenty of alcohol lingering in the sauce—even after it’s heated. Then all you have to do is wedge your melon, place the wedges on a tray then drizzle the tequila syrup on top. Allow the watermelon to absorb the syrup for at least 45 minutes to an hour, then get ready to par-tay!
